Belfast is a beautiful, bustling and vibrant city. To give you the best possible experience, we have put together a hand-picked list of our favourite pubs, restaurants and attractions.

Pubs & Bars in Belfast

Belfast has an amazing collection of bars, from centuries-old to brand-new, there is a bar to suit everyone’s tastes.

If you like old-fashioned pubs, the first stop should probably be the wonderfully decorated Victorian Crown Bar on Great Victoria Street. This bar is owned by National Trust and it feels like stepping back in time. We also like The Garrick, located just one block away from the City Hall and another example of a classic bar with great beers and great food. On the other end of the City Centre have a look at the famous Duke of York which is always busy and on a nice day you’ll find a crowd standing outside in the alleyway with a pint. Also in the City Centre there is Kelly’s Cellars, on of the oldest traditional Irish pubs in Belfast and The Morning Star in one of the old entries.

For more modern pubs, The Apartment, overlooking the City Hall, is a stylish bar for cocktails and drinks.

The Hudson is a very popular bar at the end of Royal Avenue. It has a lovely beer garden and is well known for their chicken wings.

Dining Out in Belfast

All the bars listed above also serve food. If you are looking for a nice restaurant we would like to recommend Coppi for excellent Italian food on St Anne’s Square. OX offers delicious high-end but excellent food and the boutique restaurant Coco, located just behind City Hall. Another stylish restaurant is AMPM. If you are looking for a more relaxed atmosphere please check out 2Taps, a lovely wine-bar annex tapas restaurant.

In the South of Belfast Birdcage is an great spot for lunch, drinks and dinner. Everything on the menu revolves around chicken and it is a great spot for families or groups of friends.

Please do not hesitate to ask us for more ideas and suggestions that will fit your plans!

There is no lack of things to do in Belfast. Famous for the building of the Titanic, there is a lot of things to do around that. You can go to the Titanic Belfast and learn everything about the Titanic in a wonderful interactive exhibition in the landmark building.  The Pump-House shows you where the Titanic was built, both of these are located in Titanic Quarter.

If you are interested in the history of Belfast you could take a Black Cab Tour along the Peace Walls and the murals in West Belfast, we will be happy to arrange one for you. There are also all other kinds of tours that you could take.
