Formally an old telephone exchange, the large duplex property offers comfortable, spacious and luxurious accommodation at an affordable price and has the added benefit of a beautiful roof top garden overlooking the surrounding area and country side. The property is located in the popular area of Ballyhackamore in the East of the city.

The entrance to the property is at the right hand side of the building up a short lane. There you will find a enclosed wooden gated area with one private parking spot and the entrance to your accommodation. There is small hallway used by our property and 1 other apartment in the building.

When you enter the property using a private door you will find a good sized comfortable living/ bedroom area with a large sofa bed, cupboards and a carpeted stairway to the upper floors. On the next floor you will find an open plan living/kitchen area with access to the bathroom and 2 further double bedrooms. You will find everything you should require to make you stay comfortable here. There is a further spiral staircase leading to the the top floor/ roof area of the property, here you will  find a small glazed conservatory type area with a fridge and entrance to the roof garden with tables and seating for 6 people. Here you have your own spacious private roof garden with flowers and artwork to relax in.

Area Activities

For groceries there is a Tesco’s 7-11 and a Marks and Spencers food market within walking distance on the Upper Newtownards Road. If you wish to go out for food in the local area, there are plenty of cafes and restaurants. Our favourites include Graze, Neils Hill, Il Pirata and Bistro Este but there are plenty of others to choose from depending on your own tastes. The village has 2 pubs that also serve food, Horatio Todd’s and The Stokers Halt.

The property is around 2.5 miles from the city centre. There is a bus stop 30 metres away that will take you to the centre of Belfast in around 10 minutes and services run regularly. Check the Metro website for more details. The apartment is approximately 7 miles from the George Best city airport and 30 miles from Belfast international airport.

No pets allowed. Due to the stairs inside the apartment (the main part is on the first floor) and the stairs to the roof top terrace unfortunately this apartment is not suitable for people with disabilities.
