TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following terms and conditions apply to your booking and form the terms of a legally binding contract between us and you.

The person whose name appears on the Booking Form agrees to take full responsibility for ensuring that all members of the party adhere to the Conditions of Let set out below.


PRICE

The price payable includes accommodation for the number of nights/persons stated on your booking. The number of persons occupying the property must not exceed the maximum number stated on the booking.

Booking price includes bedding, towels, electricity and gas and normal cleaning charges. This is based on 4 persons in 2 bedrooms and additional charges will be made for extra double sofa bed.


DEPOSIT

A deposit to the equivalent of the first nights stay will be taken within 7 days of booking the property.


PAYMENTS

We accept the following methods of payments on deposits and the remaining balance can either payed by card or cash on arrival. MasterCard, Visa, Switch and Paypal.

CANCELLATION POLICIES

We operate a 14 day cancellation policy. You have up to 14 days prior to your arrival to cancel without charge. After this period we will retain the deposit.

If however the cancellation is before 7 days of your arrival and we accept another booking for your dates we will be happy to credit this off any further bookings made with Belfast Self Catering.

Any bookings made within 14 days of arrival must be paid in full at time of booking. If a deposit has not been received within 14 days the booking will be cancelled without further notice.

In the event of a no show we reserve the right to charge for the full balance due for the whole of your booking.

In the unlikely event that we are forced to cancel your booking, we will attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If suitable accommodation is not available we will refund all monies paid by you and confirm that you will not be liable for any further payments.

It is recommended that you take out travel insurance which provides for cancellation cover.

If you for whatever reason choose to depart sooner than the planned departure we reserve the right to charge the full amount stated in the confirmation.

All cancellations must be made and confirmed in writing.


CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING

Your booking will be completed when we acknowledge receipt of your booking request and deposit. Prior to that the booking will only be regarded as provisional.


ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURES

Normal Check-In times are between 2.00pm – 8.00pm. On a very rare occasion, we may make an additional charge for unusual check in times, please check before booking.

The apartment must be vacated before 10.00am unless previously agreed.

We will always try to be flexible and to accommodate our clients needs.

Please advise at the time of booking if you will be checking in/out outside these times.


DAMAGES AND BREAKAGES

We are sure that you will take care whilst you stay with us, and we acknowledge that accidents sometimes happen.

We do however reserve the right to charge for any damage or breakages which we consider has been deliberately or recklessly caused.

You will be notified in writing, as soon as is reasonably practicable.

If the damage is discovered after you depart and we have not been notified you may incur additional charges.

We also reserve the right to charge further sums if we are unable to let the room as a consequence of the damage.

We require a £100 returnable security deposit on all arrivals and may deduct any additional charges from your credit/debit card used for booking with us.

Any data collected as a result of your booking will be stored in accordance with the provisions of current Data Protection legislation.


SMOKING POLICY

While we don’t enforce a strict smoking policy we would appreciate that all guests kindly used the designated areas.

DISCLAIMER

No liability shall be accepted by us for loss, damage or theft of personal property belonging to guests, either in the property or in/to cars, bicycles or other vehicles left on the property. Nor shall liability be accepted by us for accident or injury to guests, either within the property or outside.

You are expected to leave the property in a reasonable state as to have consideration to both the owners and the next guests.

As this is a residential neighbourhood we would ask that you have respect for the neighbours.

In the unlikely event of a complaint from adjoining properties, it should be be brought to our attention immediately.

We reserve the right to terminate the rental without notice and without refund if any guest’s behaviour or conduct is likely to endanger the safety or well being or is a nuisance to other guests, neighbours or indeed ourselves and if our house rules are not maintained, as this is unfair to other guests.

Excessive noise or partying will not be tolerated and will result in ejection from the property. Home entertainment equipment, musical instruments and similar equipment must be used in a away not to cause annoyance to other guests in adjoining properties.

Please do inform us as soon as possible if you have a complaint with your accommodation or if you find that anything is faulty within the accommodation that needs our attention, so that we can assist and repair or make alternative arrangements. Due to the limited period of hire, it may not be possible to repair such items during the period of hire.
